SavageBird Learning materials have been created by the team of Kevin Bird and Kirk Savage to assist teachers in making effective use of Performance Standards (now Curricular Competencies) in the K-12 education system. We have a numeracy assessment (ANIE) a literacy assessment (ALIE) and a social responsibility assessment (SaRA) that are available for free use and download on this site.

We created our first assessments in 2005 and have been improving our assessments ever since.

In 2014 The ANIE, our book on Math Assessment was published. Our second book, P.L.A.N. for Better Learning (focusing on lesson design and planning) was published in the fall of 2015.
